Medical Brigade Overview
Volunteers shadow local and foreign health professionals as they provide pro-bono consultations and medications to patients in rural communities. Volunteers assist with in-take, triage, medication packing, and health education.

Mission
Work with licensed medical professionals and community health workers to provide comprehensive health services in rural communities with limited access to health care.
The Brigade

Take patient vitals, obtain patient history, shadow and assist licensed physicians, participate in preventative education, and fill prescriptions under a licensed pharmacist.

Become familiar with the prevalent health issues in their community and learn about how to prevent and treat those illnesses.
