Eddie Arzumanov – Spotlight

Eddie is a junior in the business school studying finance! He is originally from Colorado. Eddie loves to fish, golf, and ski. Some other organizations he is involved in on campus are the University of Missouri Investment Club, College Mentors for Kids, Alpha Kappa Psi professional business fraternity, Trulaske College of Business Student Council, and the Entrepreneurship Alliance. He went on the Microfinance Brigade to Panama last January. Eddie is leading the Business Brigade to Panama this coming January. A fun fact about Eddie is, he speaks Russian fluently. 

 

 

 

 

 

Do you have any advice for new brigaders?

“Understand how lucky you are to be able to travel the world and help people. Try to use this experience to better yourself by contributing to others.”

 

What is something you did in country?

“I bought everyone in my family a souvenir from the cultural day.”

 

What was your favorite food served in country?

“Pollo” (Chicken)

 

What was a memory that you made while on the brigade?

“I went exploring on the compound and found some goats and rams.”

 

What was your favorite thing about working in country?

“Cultivating relationships with the people in country and my brigade.”
